I'm a fan of shaped cards so thought this was a great one to do for my first dare. You can do any theme but your card has to be a shape of some sort.

this is what i've done.........

i cut the flower, the middle and the greeting using my cricut and the george and basic shapes cartridge, the papers are k-ology,verbena and peabody.

it's called a wiper card!

Di-Ro Challenge!!

Di w and rosie have set up a challenge on bubbly funk,it's thier 1st one and they wanted us to make a card,an altered item or a scrapbook page, but we had to use: black and white, printed paper, chipboard word and ribbon. i did this challenge but i messed up!!! i got so hung up on the black and white that i clean forgot about the chipboard!!!
i hope they can forgive me!!!

i did the black and white (as you can see!)
i printed my own background paper using a Anna griffin stamp
i forgot the chipboard (sorry girls!)
and i put a ribbon on it!

dcm challenge

it's time for another dcm challenge, this weeks challenge is................
Hi all, it’s Sue here and it’s my turn to set the dare for you this week I’m sure that most of us girlies had a bead box when we were little and if you were like me, would spend hours sorting and swapping them with friends. Come to think of it, things haven’t changed that much because I still have a box of beads and I’m hoping that you do too.

For my dare this week I would like you to make a card that incorporates beads somewhere in the design…..it’s as easy as that!
It can be one bead, lots of beads, big beads, and small beads, whatever you like as long as there’s at least one on your card somewhere.

this is what i've done............

i stamped using a magenta stamp and embossed it with gold powder,i painted it in with h20's and stitched black beads onto it.

i love beads just as much as kathy does and since she's showing her's off i thought i'd show mine off too !:)

photo 1 are my bits and pieces boxes!
photo's 2,3+4 are my 'nice' beads
photo 5 is my silver findings and charms
thanks for looking:)

dcm challenge

time for a dcm challenge, this weeks challenge is..............
Hi everyone, it's my turn (Mel) to set the dare this week :)

I've based my dare on the book by Graeme Base called 'Animalia' (just because that book happened to be sitting near my desk when I realised it was my turn for the dare this week).

So, all you have to do is create a card featuring an animal. I hope you all enjoy having a play with this dare, don't forget to come back and let us know where we can see the cards you make - because we do love to see all the wonderful cards you make

this is what i've done...........

stamped hero arts stamp(e2906)onto an oval cut on cricut, bit of colour with le plume pen and water colour pencil, some paper flowers,a few gems and backing paper that came free with a magazine (can't remember which!) and a bit of ric rac.

scrap your day

shimelle laine has done a class/challenge on uks and it's to scrap one day in each month,it's called ...scrap your day. we started on 25th april,so my photos were of what i got up to on the 1st day of their cyber crop. i took photos of my bedside clock too coz i thought it would be interesting to see what time i got up each day and when i went to bed, i think the dishwasher and washing machine might feature alot in the months too!!!!
i've only just finished the cover of my book and i've got the photos printed,so i need to work on them next!!!

time for a dcm challenge this weeks challenge is..........

Hi it's Keryn here and it's my turn to Distress you all, or at least your cards with this weeks dare. You can make a card for any season, any holiday, any occaision but you need to use either a fingernail, curled edges, sandpaper, tearing, anything you like really as long as looks like it's had a fair bit or wear and tear.

this is what i've done.
embossed the dragonflies onto pearl card and sanded it a tiny bit to bring out the white core in the card, ripped the edges of the green spot paper and mounted them onto the same pearl card.finished off with 3 little gems.
